Defra Green Social Prescribing Report

An interim report has been produced as part of the ‘National Evaluation of the Preventing and Tackling Mental Ill Health through Green Social Prescribing Project’ which the Nature for Health programme in Greater Manchester contributed research findings to.

The research was conducted by University of Sheffield, University of Exeter and Sheffield Hallam University.

The aim of the project is to evaluate the Preventing and Tackling Mental Ill Health through Green Social Prescribing Project, in order to iteratively feed into project design and implementation throughout the funded period, and to inform wider rollout of green social prescribing following the initiative.

The evaluation will assess processes, outcomes, and value-for-money, and improve understanding of what works, for whom, in what circumstances and why.
