We know that this time of year can be hard for many, but for some people it isn`t just the winter weather that takes it`s toll on their mental health.
As part of our Green Social Prescribing Programme, we`ve been working all year with people in Stockport who have severe mental health issues, harnessing the healing power of nature and the outdoors 🌱
By taking part in regular sessions at Green Thumbs allotment in Brinnington, participants have developed a routine in a familiar place, helping them to build their confidence and unwind in a natural environment 💚🌷

This morning one of our Bury groups began creating a dead-hedge. This forms a barrier to protect the wildflowers we are planting soon 🌼🌷🌻 The hedge is also a great home for wildlife especially bugs! 🐞🐌🪱🕷 lancashirewildlifetrust #gmnatureforhealth
