Nature for Health attended the Greater Manchester Green Summit on the 9th December 2024 at The Lowry Theatre.
Hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, the event provided Nature for Health partners with the opportunity to network with organisations, charity partners and individuals who value green spaces and understand the intrinsic relationship between nature and mental health.
Partners spoke in detail about what Green Social Prescribing is and how it can benefit people’s mental health. They shared information about the different types of activities available from current delivery partners who were also on hand to answer questions.
The event was a great opportunity to increase visibility for Nature for Health and the concept of green social prescribing to the wider environment sector with some great connections made with individuals and organisations interested in nature-based health interventions.
